Job Description
CCS Construction Staffing is seeking experienced Pipe Welders for a long-term project in Troy, NC, starting March 2026. This role is ideal for skilled tradesmen with commercial, industrial, or shipyard welding experience who value precision, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
•Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper-nickel piping systems using MMA (Stick), TIG, CW (Cold Wire), and flux-core processes.
•Read and interpret blueprints, ISO drawings, and weld symbols.
•Prepare, align, and tack pipe for welding; ensure welds meet high-quality standards under inspection.
•Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and various site conditions while following all safety protocols.
•Collaborate with pipefitters, foremen, and project supervisors to maintain schedule and quality standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
•Minimum 3 years of pipe welding experience in commercial, industrial, or shipyard settings.
•Proficient in multiple welding processes (Stick, TIG, CW, flux-core).
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
•Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.
•Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; must pass drug screen and background check.
