Work Scope
Apprentice Plumbers will be working on commercial plumbing projects in Seguin, TX, assisting journeymen through the underground phase and into slab-related work.
Duties include:
•Assisting with underground plumbing work
•Helping wrap up remaining underground sections prior to slab pour
•Working around a mock 10x10 restroom build
•Assisting with installation of water main lines
•Learning and assisting with ADA/disabled-access restroom measurements, including:
•Proper distance off the wall
•Correct sink height for disabled access
•Identifying correct fittings for specific piping applications
•Supporting layout, measurements, and installation under supervision
•Handling materials, tools, and jobsite setup
•Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional jobsite
Commercial Apprentice Plumber Requirements
•Apprentice-level commercial plumbing experience required
•Must have basic hand tools
•Must have a drill and basic power tools
•Willingness to learn proper layout and code-related measurements
•Ability to follow direction and stay productive
•ALL PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)
•Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings
•Reliable transportation required
•Professional attitude and strong work ethic
