Work Scope
Mechanics will be working on commercial HVAC projects in Indianapolis, IN.
Duties include:
•Installing commercial duct systems
•Installing water source heat pumps
•Installing low-pressure duct work, dryer exhaust, and general exhaust systems
•Installing sheet metal trunk lines and branch lines
•Installing spiral and rectangular duct
•Performing layout and hanging ceiling duct systems
•Working with TDF, Ductmate, S-lock, and drive connections
•Measuring, cutting, and installing while reading mechanical prints
•Maintaining productivity and jobsite safety standards
Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic Requirements
•Minimum 4 years of commercial sheet metal experience REQUIRED
•Must bring own sheet metal hand tools
•Strong experience installing and hanging ductwork
•Knowledge of TDF, Ductmate, S-lock, and drive connections
•Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints independently
•Must have ALL PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)
•Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings
•Reliable transportation required
•Professional attitude and strong work ethic
