We are currently looking for Traffic Control Flaggers members in MN!
Q3 Contracting is seeking reliable and safety-focused Traffic Control Flaggers to join our team. Traffic Flaggers play a critical role in maintaining a safe work environment for crews and the traveling public by directing traffic through construction and work zones.
Responsibilities:
•Control the flow of vehicular traffic through construction zones using stop/slow paddles and 2-way radios
•Set up and take down traffic control devices (cones, signs, etc.)
•Communicate clearly with crew members and the public
•Remain alert and attentive to changing traffic and work zone conditions
•Follow all company safety policies and state/local traffic control regulations
•Report unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately
Qualifications:
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
•Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
•Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
•Excellent communication skills
•MnDOT or ATSSA flagger certification preferred (in-house training)
•Previous flagging experience is a plus but not required
Job Requirements:
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
•Stand and remain alert for extended periods
•Work in heat, cold, wind, and rain
•Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Travel is scheduled based on workload and location.
