•Perform scheduled, routine, and as‑needed inspections and preventive maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure proper operability.
•Assist the Facilities Maintenance team with building upkeep and interior maintenance, including office furniture moves and the installation or removal of cabinets, as needed.
•Operate shop equipment such as the shop sweeper, forklift, boom lift, and scissor lift.
•Complete administrative tasks, including maintenance documentation, forms, and reporting equipment status to the supervisor.
•Keep inventory of spare parts and report needs to supervisor.
•Maintain spare parts inventory and report replenishment needs to the supervisor.
•Communicate effectively with team members, coworkers, contractors, and vendors to exchange necessary information.
•Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs on equipment during work hours.
•Respond to maintenance-related emergency calls during work hours.
•Diagnose and perform basic electrical repairs.
•Perform annual welder calibrations (training provided in-house).
•Support and maintain a safe, clean, and Lean working environment.
•Actively participate in TPM and Lean improvement initiatives.
•Other duties as assigned.
•High school diploma or GED required.
•1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
•Experience with a CMMS is a plus.
•Ability to work in various conditions, including tight or enclosed spaces, at heights, and in temperature extremes, both indoors and outdoors.
•Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems (including relevant tools and equipment) is a plus.
•Ability to stand or walk for extended periods; ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and lift or move heavy equipment.
•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, manuals, and related documents.
•Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
•May be required to work outside of normal work hours.
