Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Traveling MIG Welders for projects located in or around Milwaukee, WI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $24/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
•Welding Ibeams, frames & fuel tanks in flat/overhead positions
•Welding sheet metal from 10 gauge up to 1 inch
•Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts
•Weld, position & secure work pieces using hoist cranes, wire & banding machines or hand-tools
•Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions
Requirements:
•Must pass various weld test, competency test, math test, drug screen and physical
•Must be able to run one bead over side without stopping
•Must be able to read measuring devices
•Must have GMAW, MIG/MAG experience
