Position Details
Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $28.00/hour
Location: Windermere, Florida
Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based
Schedule: 5-8s, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Start Date: 05/28/2026
Scope of Work
•Read and interpret blueprints and scale off drawings
•Connect ductwork and install hangers as per specifications
•Measure using tape measures and other tools accurately
•Assist with HVAC systems installation and maintenance
•Work at a school facility for two months, then transfer to other schools as needed
Requirements
•Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience required
•Ability to read blueprints and scale drawings accurately
•Experience with ductwork, hangers, and tape measuring methods
•OCPS JLA badge required (must submit selfie for badge processing)
•Language proficiency in Spanish is acceptable
