•Perform a variety of manual labor tasks including painting, cleaning, digging, sweeping, landscaping, and drilling
•Assist with daily department operations and project support
•Help install and manage temporary traffic control measures
•Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials
•Operate tools and machinery such as mowers, power tools, and utility equipment
•Clean, maintain, and inspect vehicles, tools, and equipment after use
•Report any defects or repair needs to supervisors
•Maintain basic records of work activities and inventory
•Run job-related errands and assist team members as needed
•Follow all safety procedures, including confined space, trenching, and lockout/tagout standards
•High school diploma or GED
•Valid Indiana driver’s license (preferred)
•Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work within established guidelines
•Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
•Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
•Ability to operate or learn a variety of equipment (e.g., dump truck, forklift, tractor, hand and power tools)
•Willingness to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 20-50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs occasionally)
•Comfort working outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions
•Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing tasks
