•Layout, prepare, erect and assemble forms for pouring concrete.
•Set, brace and align forms in place with lumber, timbers, turnbuckles, clamps, wall ties, coil rods, etc. for use in building concrete piers, footings, and walls.
•Signal operators of construction equipment (such as cranes, rigging hardware, diggers, etc.) to facilitate movement and adjustment of machinery/equipment and install building framework where needed.
•Use carpentry hand tools such as hammers, levels, squares, plumb bobs, screwdrivers, adjustable wrenches, hand and power saws, drill motors and pry bars, electric and pneumatic tools.
•Measure, cut, and/or shape boards, timbers, plywood, plastic, and other materials.
•Install barricades as appropriate to eliminate workplace hazards.
•Work efficiently, productively and safely to meet productions goals set by Suntec leadership.
•Dismantle, stack and sort concrete formwork.
•Examine blueprints, sketches, building plans to ensure quality work.
•Perform routine inspections of tool/equipment to ensure safety and quality.
•Provide direction to laborers and other construction helpers
•Build, install, brace, and remove concrete formwork for structural concrete.
•Read blueprints and layout plans to ensure accurate construction.
•Measure, cut, and assemble wood, plywood, and forming systems.
•Safely operate hand and power tools.
•Work with cranes, equipment operators, and other trades to complete projects.
•Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while meeting production and quality standards.
•Inspect tools and equipment and assist in mentoring less experienced crew members.
